On November 2-3, 2011, The QED Group organized a two-day seminar on E-Governance and E-document management systems in cooperation with the National Institute of Democracy and Human Rights under the President of Turkmenistan. QED identified one of Russia’s leading experts on e-governance, Dmitrii Trutnev, and invited him to lead the seminar for Turkmenistan’s influential decision makers within the Government.

The seminar was part of an effort by USAID’s Governance Strengthening Project, managed by QED, to increase the practice of inclusive dialogue and information-sharing by national level institutions. The seminar hosted representatives from the Ministry of Adalat (Justice), Civil Service Academy, Institute of State and Law, Ministry of Health and Medical Industry and many others.  The successful seminar was presented on national television in three different languages.

The event press release can be found on the U.S. Embassy Turkmenistan’s website.
