Dr. Siddhi Aryal joins the QED Group as Asia Regional Director

The QED Group is pleased to welcome Dr. Siddhi Aryal to our leadership team, as Asia Regional Director, effective January 15, 2018.

Based in Myanmar, Siddhi will represent the QED Group in Asia and will lead our strategic planning and program analysis in the region by reviewing, analyzing, capturing and reporting development, business, and economic indices, and identifying new strategies for growth.

Siddhi has 16 years of experience directing and leading donor-funded health systems in Asia and Africa. He has in-depth expertise in technical leadership in health systems strengthening, capacity building, MEL, and management of complex regional health programs. He has worked closely with national, provincial, and district government counterparts to develop strategic plans, operational frameworks, and key policies. Siddhi is well-versed in program leadership and has directed regional health programs with budgets of up to $20 million for USAID, DFID, the CDC, Chevron, and the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria (GFATM). He earned a Ph.D. in Global Health Systems Development from Tulane University in New Orleans and holds a master’s degree in International Health from a consortium of University College, London, Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, and the University of Copenhagen.
