The African Evaluation Association (AfrEA) will hold its 8th annual conference this month, from March 27-31 in Kampala, Uganda. QED will be the official Knowledge Management Partner for the conference and will also be leading the conference strand: Leveraging Capacity Building Knowledge for Development Results. Neelima Grover, QED’s Founder & Chairperson, will attend this important event to meet with local partners and stakeholders with the goal of expanding QED’s network and organizational footprint in the region.
Since November 2016, QED has been supporting AfrEA conference organizers by curating the Leveraging Capacity Building Knowledge for Development Results conference strand which focuses on evaluation utilization for decision-making and to drive better development outcomes. We are excited to be sending a large contingent to participate in the conference happening in Kampala, Uganda, March 27-31 2017. Ten staff from our Learning Contract (based in Kampala) as well as three individuals from HQ will be moderating and facilitating sessions as well as capturing key takeaways from sessions they attend. In addition, Charlotta Sandin, Deputy Chief of Party from QED’s Learning Contract, will lead a panel discussion on innovative ways to promote learning together with stakeholders to generate knowledge and solidify partnerships and form joint agendas.
