Third-Party Monitoring: In Afghanistan and Iraq, QED Group utilized local data collectors who became the “eyes and ears” of USAID in the field by visiting project sites; interviewing beneficiaries, local government officials, and other community leaders, recording GPS coordinates, taking photographs of project activities and tangible outputs, and attending partner events.
