QED Wins DFID Global Evaluation Framework Agreement

QED is pleased to announce that we have secured a place on the Global Evaluation Framework Agreement (GEFA), funded by the U.K. Department for International Development (DFID), or UKAid. We are one of 18 firms awarded under this agreement, focused on monitoring and evaluation of DFID’s global development programs.

GEFA addresses critical DFID evaluation concerns, contributing to the value for money of DFID’s development spending and support the effective delivery of the donor agency’s strategic objectives. This contract will help DFID produce high quality, independent, relevant evaluations that enable development interventions globally. A key contribution of this evaluation work is that it seeks to generate evidence and knowledge to inform effective decision-making related to future programs and policies.

Under the GEFA framework, QED has successfully won the opportunity to undertake a wide range of evaluations for DFID, which is now delivering 25+ evaluations across 20 countries and 15 sector areas. We have global and regional partners in 16 countries for this contract, who can be called on and utilized depending on the technical scope and country/regional focus of a specific task order or call-down.

While DFID has issued and awarded the contract, other U.K. Government departments can access this procurement mechanism. Currently, these other government departments include those listed below.
